Chelsea Manning, who was jailed for refusing to testify against Julian Assange in a grand jury, is now paying a thousand dollars a day fine. Lawyers estimate the amount due by the time she is released will nearly be a half million dollars. This is not justice but coercement through manipulation. Actually, this is cruel and unusual punishment which is unconstitutional.
Chelsea Manning refuses to back down on her principles regardless. The U.S. judiciary system and the grand jury have become as corrupt and evil as the legislative branch.
