On the 6th month of Julian Assange’s Solitary Confinement

assange_time_secret_wikileaks-e1476855073934It has been six months, 181 days and over 2300hours since Julian Assange was gagged by order of President Lenin Moreno of Ecuador.  Has there been any progress?  No, but we have learned many things since it began including why Moreno would do such a cruel, heartless act against a man who sought political asylum and protection from his country.

First of all, we now know that the isolation he has been put in is to try and pressure Assange into no longer speaking about the police brutality in Catalonia but mostly due to US pressure and Assange’s influence on US politics.  Yesterday, in an interview and statement made in an AP article seen here:DoHDbJ8UwAA-BRc.jpg

This is a direct admission of what we have been saying all along. In my article “Who Was Really Behind The Silencing of Julian Assange?”  I discuss the issue of the reasons for his silencing which proved the US’s involvement.  What really matters however, is that Lenin Moreno is literally torturing Julian Assange and has no remorse in doing so.  Julian will not stop discussing these policies as he is an advocate for Free Speech and Free Press and to do so would be going against his very principles.  It would literally be saying, “It’s okay to force a journalist to remain silent.”  This just isn’t in Assange’s makeup to give in on an issue that is so important.

Basically what Moreno has done is tortured an innocent man who is under his protection against his own Constitution.  Ecuador’s Constitution states:

DoHarymXgAM0gte.jpg

By threatening to evict Assange recently, it was evident that Moreno wants to commit political suicide as violating his own Constitutional law would be doing.  He has already violated it by taking away the rights of Assange.  With no end in sight to the isolation and the fight to Free Assange continuing, it is a travesty that this journalist must suffer.

Recently, Amnesty International made the following statement in regards to the situation of the possible eviction and extradition of Assange:Dmjvw6mWwAAzIMZ.jpg

As stated above, if Julian Assange was extradited to the US there is no guarantee he will not be executed or tortured.  This is the reason he took asylum in the first place.  In the Stratfor email seen below found on the Wikileaks site, it reveals the intentions the US government has for Assange.   DkvnHz0WwAE6X4x

Since it appears his solitary confinement is indefinite and Moreno will not relent and follow the laws of his own country, we must fight hard to gain his freedom.  We must continue unified as one movement to get him Safe Passage home or to a country that will protect him!  We will win!  We will prevail!  Stand strong and Keep Fighting!8f085bcd676dd08204e847d8031e4a27--keep-fighting-inspiring-quotes

Example Letter to the Editor Regarding Julian Assange

Dear Editor of “Name of Newspaper,”

I am writing to in regards of a terrible human rights atrocity going on.  An innocent man who published documents given to him by whistleblowers has been illegally detained for 8 years, 6 of which are in a room no larger than your office without fresh air, sunlight or proper medical care.  His health is deteriorating.  To add to this violation he has been placed in solitary confinement for the last six months without access to internet, phone or visitors for publishing the truth.  This is also a violation of free speech and free press.

As the editor of a media outlet, I am sure you understand the ramifications of such an act against publishers and journalists alike.  I am asking you to take a stand against this travesty and speak out for Julian Assange, publisher and creator of Wikileaks.  The persecution and possible prosecution sets a precedent for all journalists and editors.  If this horrible injustice continues or he is extradited to the United States to face charges, the end result will be the termination of First Amendment Rights.

Thank you,

Sincerely.

A concerned Citizen

HR6729 Is a Violation of the 4th Amendment and Must Be Stopped

images (1).jpg

Once again, the US Government Legislative Department also known as Congress has created a bill and attempted to conceal another piece of legislation that should never be passed. They have titled HR6729 “Fight Human Trafficking when in fact, it contains expansion of the #PatriotAct.  The PatriotAct enabled our government to spy on its own citizens when passed originally and this new legislation makes it even more legal.  By once again concealing what their real intentions are they have intentionally tried to mislead the public AGAIN!

You can review the bill here

Below are several screenshots of what HR6729 contains:Dn9A-uRWkAA3vnp.jpg

DntdKjIXoAECsGC (1).jpgDntdKjIXoAECsGC.jpgDntdKgvWkAMBPHB.jpg

Ask yourself this question, why do those we vote for conceal the truth from us if they truly represent us?  The truth is, that these people don’t.  They are as corrupt as they come and only serve themselves and their pocketbooks.  They purposely mislead the public while taking funds from corporations and pass bills that are a violation of our Constitutional rights.

The 4th amendment distinctly states they have no right to spy on us in our own homes as seen here:

“The Fourth Amendment originally enforced the notion that “each man’s home is his castle”, secure from unreasonable searches and seizures of property by the government.  It protects against arbitrary arrests, and is the basis of the law regarding search warrantsstop-and-frisk, safety inspections, wiretaps, and other forms of surveillance, as well as being central to many other criminal law topics and to privacy law.

Here is the 4th amendment as seen in the Constitution:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

This bill also reaffirms Wikileaks’ #Vault7 as seen here.  As there is too much information on this page to include quotes, I highly recommend you read it at the link provided.  The CIA has been using their technology to spy on American citizens for quite some time and our government has allowed this under the Patriot Act.  By expanding the Patriot Act, under false pretenses and concealing under this bill, they are turning the US into a modern day “1984”.  If we allow this, our privacy will be a thing of the past.

Will We The People allow a direct violation of the Constitution to continue?  Please write your Senators and Representatives and demand they vote not to pass this bill!

The Persecution of Julian Assange Continues…

Please imagine being confined to a room the size of a small office in an Embassy in a foreign land.  You are unable to see your family or your children or even see the sunlight.  It has been six long years since you were outside for more than 5 minutes and even the five minutes only took place a total of six times.  Your sleeping quarters are a converted women’s bathroom where you can barely fit a bed. You stare at the walls day in and day out until they are as familiar as the back of your eyelids. You are suffering healthwise because proper medical care is not allowed.  If you walk out the front door of this living hell you will be arrested, extradited and face torture, life in prison or worse, the death penalty. Why?  Because you published documents exposing injustice and crimes by an extremely powerful government.Cb-dN4oXIAAfz7u.jpgassange-office-tour-25.jpgliving.jpg

Imagine going days without affection or basic human interaction.  Imagine not knowing when it will all end.  Envision being innocent and trying to show the public what their governments are doing behind their backs and being in this position.  Not being able to see your children grow up or hug them is a travesty. The suffering would be immense, especially if you were an outdoors person to begin with.  Think about not being able to go near windows due to the possibility of a lone gunman targeting you.  Visualize hundreds of death threats and not being able to go where you please or even go out for dinner or go out on a date.

Then, just as it hope looms on the horizon, that same persecuting nation goes to the government of the embassy you sought asylum with and coerces them into putting you in solitary confinement indefinitely.  They have taken away your rights to internet access, the telephone and visitors.  You are not a prisoner.  You are a political refugee.  Now they are truly torturing you under international law and the Nelson Mandela Act.  Why?  Because fear makes them want to keep you quiet.  Fear of being exposed.Diq2eDVUEAECOTX

This sounds like some sort of crazy movie plot, doesn’t it?  Like something that happens on the screen, not in real life.  Maybe a John Grisham thriller comes to mind.  Unfortunately, the hero of this nasty plot is really living this nightmare.  Julian Assange has been illegally detained against 2 UN rulings for 8 years.  Six of which he has lived in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London without fresh air, sunlight, proper exercise or decent medical care.  He took political asylum due to threats of extradition to the US where he faced torture, life in prison or the death penalty.DkvnHz0WwAE6X4x

As though his confinement is not persecution enough, the Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno ordered him silenced and isolated on March 28th of this year.  Assange is a very social person as every human is.  According to the Nelson Mandela Act, anything over 15 days in solitary is considered torture.  So now, Mr. Assange faces indefinite isolation because the US government is afraid of what he can expose.  Many will argue who ordered this done, but the proof is in the pudding.  I wrote an article recently showing some evidence for the reader to decide. (You can read this article here.) The point being that someone in the current administration basically bribed Ecuador, regardless of who the guilty party is. The very government who gave asylum, under a new president, is now torturing the man they gave citizenship to and diplomatic status to.Julian-Assange-Embassy-724516

If you read my article How Solitary Confinement Effects the Human Mind, you come to the realization that people usually are affected permanently by isolation of this kind.  Very simply put, what they are doing to this journalist and publisher is cruel and unusual punishment.  It is a violation of human rights, free speech, and free press.  It is morally and ethically against every principle we have ever been taught.  An innocent man is sitting in a modern day Tower of London due to political persecution for simply telling the truth!

You would think this would take place in some 3rd world, uncivilized country but it is taking place right under everyone’s noses in London.  My very heart breaks with sorrow for what this courageous truth teller is enduring. Please, if you have a heart, write to your leaders, your lawmakers, your newspapers and demand this tragedy end now.

Society Today: Immunity to Violence

dhuna01.jpgMany of us truly believe we are more civilized then what we call “The Old Days”. We cite that we no longer use torture devices like they did in the Dark Ages or have the Coliseum or publicly execute people and this part is true. People sometimes will ask how people could stand to watch these disgusting displays and applaud and enjoy it.  Well, our society really is no different. Let me explain.

Our society delves into this a completely different way then what they did then.  They watch it on television, in movies, online and on the news every day.  We see rape, murder, unadultered sex, sexual exploitation, war crimes, etc. and it’s all at a touch of a button.  How many of you have watched an action-packed movie and not thought twice about in the violence in it.  What about the new state of the art video games on your gaming consul or PC?  Do you think twice about the sex on day time television? No, you don’t.download.jpg

I remember as a teenager watching Robocop for the first time.  I was pretty innocent and naive back then I admit but there was a scene that literally made me vomit.  When the thugs cut off Robocops arm when he was a human it not only made me violently ill but would make me shudder every time I thought of it for days after.  Recently, I watched that movie for a second time.  The scene did not even phase me now.  This is a good example of what I am talking about.

People in the past saw violence, rape and torture so much they became immune.  In other words, they lost their ability to be shocked.  It was “normal” to watch it in public.  Just like it is now.  Our society today has become so unnaffected by the violence in the news, in the movies, on PCs and games that it no longer phases us.  In fact, most people don’t even pay attention to the constant barrage of killings and shootings on tv.  School shootings and other mass shootings have become so common that people pay attention for a day or two and move on to the next excitement.  Yes, many view it as exciting.  How did we as human beings stop caring about others?

We as human beings are social beings.  It only makes sense that seeing another of our species hurt would affect us right? You cannot interact with someone who is no longer alive or functional.  So, what causes us to stop caring? From very early on in our development we learned to adjust, to adapt to our surroundings, to survive.  Becoming desensitized to what is going around us is simply the mind’s way of surviving and protecting itself from being hurt.mobviolence.jpg

According to Wikipedia seen here:

“In psychology, desensitization is defined as the diminished emotional responsiveness to a negative, aversive or positive stimulus after repeated exposure to it. It also occurs when an emotional response is repeatedly evoked in situations in which the action tendency that is associated with the emotion proves irrelevant or unnecessary.”

According to an article in Psychology Today, seen here:

“A study by the Indiana University School of Medicine examined young men and violent media exposure. There were visible alterations in MRI brain scans after only one week of playing a violent video game. In particular, there was a significant decrease in the activation of prefrontal portions of the brain and a greater activation of the amygdala.

Source:

A quick neuroscience lesson: The prefrontal cortex is the so called “thinking part” of the brain which deals with concentrationdecision makingself-control and inhibition while the amygdala is part of the limbic system, the so called “emotion center” that serves many emotional functions, but can be the trigger for depressionanger, aggression and impulsive behavior.”

“The Virginia Tech Research Division showed students several non-violent movies, followed by super-violent movies. Results indicated violent films can increase hostile behavior.”

According to the nhi.gov site seen here:

By age 15, over 50 to 70% of youth report witnessing real-life violence or being assaulted in their lifetime, with rates varying based on the types of violence measured (Cisler et al. 2012Finkelhor et al. 2013). Most youth also experience violence through media, including television, movies and video games. For instance, the average 18-year old observes approximately 6,000 acts of violence on television and in movies in one year (Browne and Hamilton-Giachritsis 2005Center for Research Excellence 2009).

Also, the human brain trains itself to protect itself from anxiety and fear if there is no reason for it.  For instance, when i saw Robocop the first time, I hadn’t been exposed to much violence. My parents were very protective and kept me from viewing too much violence.  So when I saw it, it not only shocked me but I found it revolting and objectionable and it caused me fear.  After seeing more and more of this behavior on television and at the movies, my brains trained itself to react calmly because there was nothing to fear.  This is how I became immune to violence and sex.

This is an unfortunate happening.  I miss that innocence.  It’s not that I don’t care what happens to people, because I do very much but it’s commonplace.  My brain has protected me from the anxiety it causes.  It has stopped triggering the impulse to become sick and afraid. It happens to all of us but we need our society to realize what this immunity is doing.  We need to open our eyes once again and see that it is not right.  Our media needs to present murders and violence for what it is and not treat it as just another day.

We need to teach our children that violence is wrong.  We also need to retrain our brain to be appalled by the constant show of violence on tv and shut it off.  Very simply, we are no different than those “barbarians” who watched public executions and tortures and we need to change that behavior in ourselves.

Why We Must Unite to Free Assange

img_20190411_1134261408311213.jpg

Due to the recent arrest of Assange, we must stand together and out our differences aside. The attacks between fellow supporters must stop regardless. We cannot ein this battle divided. These attacks only help the deep state to keep him right where they want him, which is detained with deteriorating health.  Their goal is the slow murder of a journalist and publisher who believes in justice and what is right. The only way they will win this battle is using the divide and conquer strategy and so far, they have managed to divide many of us based on political affiliation.

Julian himself talked about unity:DmBtdR6XsAAB77vjulian tweet

“There is unity in the oppression. There must be absolute unity and determination in the response.” ~Julian Assange

According to Wikipedia seen here:

Tradition attributes the origin of the motto to Philip of Macedonia: διαίρει καὶ βασίλευε diaírei kài basíleue, in ancient Greek: «divide and rule»

Divide and rule (or divide and conquer, from Latin dīvide et imperā) in politics and sociology is gaining and maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less power than the one implementing the strategy. The concept refers to a strategy that breaks up existing power structures, and especially prevents smaller power groups from linking up, causing rivalries and fomenting discord among the people. It was heavily used by British Empire in India and elsewhere.[1]

They used this strategy at Standing Rock to divide and conquer the movement as seen in this article:

“How do you conquer a nation?

Distract them with football games, political circuses and Black Friday sales. Keep them focused on their differences—economic, religious, environmental, political, racial—so they can never agree on anything. And then, when they’re so divided that they are incapable of joining forces against a common threat, start picking them off one by one.”

This is also working in the movement to Free Julian Assange.  Government Operatives posing as activists start with dropping seeds of doubt and pushing an agenda against what they call the “opposition.”  The opposition being people from what they call the “other side” or different political parties.  They use familiar terms to put them down which causes a break in forces.  Suddenly the movement is divided in half and its strength is half of what it once was.  Remember the old adage “There is strength in numbers.”  In this battle against the powers that be, it is more than true.

We are fighting against an extremely powerful foe, we are fighting against 2 of the strongest governments in the world.  We cannot be divided by our beliefs.  We cannot let politics come between us in this fight.  It will destroy us from within and thus take the life of a hero.  BnWq7XDZ

The above picture is a good example of what the power of the people against tyranny can do.  The persecution and abuse of Assange is exactly that, tyranny.  It is a fight for our rights as human beings to be treated fairly.  It is fight for free speech against a fascist state.  If we do not stand, we will inevitably fail in our endeavors.  Regardless, of our feelings towards another we need to act as one.

According to the Webster Dictionary, seen here the definition of unity is as follows:

  1. the quality or state of not being multiple
  2.  a condition of harmony
  3. the quality or state of being made one

What comes to mind is the old truth as well, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”  Do people not see that we are not fighting for a political side but for a man’s life? His life depends on us unifying and fighting together.  He has no chance at survival or freedom of we do not become as one in this battle.  No one person or small group can stand up against 2 governments so powerful and win.  We need everyone on the same side.  Do we really want to let Deep State win and destroy the only person willing to suffer that we know the truth?

I appeal to all those involved to take into consideration that Julian’s life is in danger and put aside their political differences to We need to save him before it’s too late! qKZuF_E0

Is it the beginning of the End of Free Speech? First They Came for Assange

Julian Assange has been warning us for over a decade that free speech and free press were under attack and yet no one seemed to care.  Many journalists including myself have been warning the public that silencing Assange would set a precedent for future generations to invariably lose those rights.  Unfortunately, on March 28th,2018, President Lenin Moreno of Ecuador, (being coerced by the US government with threats to hold back funds), isolated Assange by removing his right to internet, phone and visitors. This essentially put an innocent publisher and journalist in solitary confinement. (Article on Disobedient Media seen here and my article on solitary confinement here  ) It continues on indefinitely without an end in sight.  Since then, many journalists have been suspended from social media, 3 were kidnapped and assassinated in Ecuador, 2 Reuter journalists have been imprisoned and much more. It makes me wonder who will be next on their agenda.2hfqji

Shortly after Assange was silenced, 3 journalists were murdered in Ecuador as seen here.  They were investigating violence along the Columbian border in Ecuador when they were effectively targeted and murdered.  Julian Assange wrote a letter while silenced and sent out through his lawyers expressing his sympathy (seen below). He was deeply affected by these murders.AUBpKaTK

Then there was the suspension of Lauri Love, Peter Van Buren, InfoWars and Alex Jones from social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.  This was a direct hit on free press and free speech from Silicon Valley.  An attempt was made to silence Caitlin Johnstone on Twitter but there was enough people who refused to allow this that Twitter reinstated her account. @WSWSUpdates has also been censored. ( Link found here). The ongoing attacks on journalists and Tweeters by @Jack and FB’s censoring of  journalists who publish the truth is just the beginning of internet censorship I am afraid.CaitOz

UK journalist, Tommy Robinson was imprisoned for telling the truth recently ( link here.) due to exposing pedophiles. Also, as stated by the Press Gazette in the article referenced here:

“Since the launch of Operation Weeting five years ago at least 67 UK journalists have been arrested and/or charged.”

“Over the last five years the UK has arrested more journalists than anywhere else in the Western world. Globally, the countries that compete with us include the likes of Eritrea and Iran.”

This article includes a list of the 67 journalists arrested in the past five years but does not include Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange who has been detained by the UK in the Ecuadorian Embassy as a political asylee for 6 years.  The British government has literally turned it into an alternative to the Tower of London for political prisoners. The UN ruled the detainment illegal as seen here

“United Nations panel has ruled that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been unlawfully detained at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, according to reports.”

In December of 2017, two Reuters journalists were imprisoned in Myhanmar as seen here.  The NY Times stated that imprisoned journalists have reached a record high in 2017 as seen here. Acoording to the New York Times:

“The number of journalists jailed around the world in connection with their work has reached a record high of 262, according to a new report, with just over half of them imprisoned in Turkey, China or Egypt.”

According to the Washington Post (seen here) 18 journalists were killed last year making it one of the most dangerous years recorded to be a journalist.  This same article states that there are over 182 journalists jailed worldwide which is a more current article than the Times.  Either way, writing for a living has become a threat rather than rewarding.  Just ask Julian Assange, who has been detained illegally for the last 8 years, spent 6 of those years in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London in a room no bigger than a large office without fresh air, sunlight and proper medical care.

As I said before, Assange has been talking about the reasons why we need to defend free speech for over a decade. One of his quotes states “The First Amendment unapologetically nurtures the democratization of knowledge. With the internet, it has reached its full potential. The US public defends free speech more passionately, but the First Amendment only truly lives through its repeated exercise. The First Amendment explicitly prevents the executive from attempting to restrict anyone’s ability to speak and publish freely. ”  There is much truth in this statement when the internet is not censored as it has been recently. Another quote from Julian: “I mean there’s enormous pressures to harmonize freedom of speech legislation and transparency legislation around the world – within the E.U., between China and the United States. Which way is it going to go? It’s hard to see.”

“Our ability to communicate is important because from it derives everything that we think about as civilized in a civilization, every law, every regulation, every constitution & in fact every other right derives from the practice of communicating with each other.”–Julian Assange

Yet, if the free press obeys considerations above informing the public, we are no longer talking about a free press, and we are no longer talking about an informed public. ~Julian Assange

If you don’t speak up–if you give up what’s uniquely yours as a human being: if you surrender your consciousness, your independence, your sense of what’s right & what’s wrong –perhaps without knowing it, you become passive & controlled, unable to defend yourself & those you love. ~~Julian Assange

“Our ability to communicate is important because from it derives everything that we think about as civilized in a civilization, every law, every regulation, every constitution & in fact every other right derives from the practice of communicating with each other.”– @JulianAssange https://t.co/zElm37zw26

Julian Assange is literally a mentor of Free Speech and Free Press as he has stood strong and courageous against the US government for nearly a decade.  He has stood up for other’s rights and been a defender of whistleblowers.  His silencing is definitely setting the precedent for the silencing of other voices.  DmU6G0EU4AE5DBy.jpg

If we as a people do not stand up against the war on our rights to free speech and free press around the world, we will ultimately lose those inalienable rights and be ruled by governments that do not answer to the people. If you listen to this video of Julian talking about why free speech is so important, you will have a better understanding.

“If the law is put in charge of the right to communicate, then the law is put in charge of the law. Which is inherently corrupt” — Unreleased footage of from documentary filmmaker . New film about just released: (Wikileaks Art twitter post)

video link

In 2012, Julian Assange was quoted as saying:

“Will the United States of America return to & affirm the revolutionary values it was founded on or will it lurch off the precipice, dragging us all into a dangerous & opressive world in which journalists fall silent & citizens must whisper in the dark?” — (2012)

The world as we know it is changing drastically every day. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be for the better, as governments are waging war for more control through the silencing of our voices.  In fact, it appears as though the days of Nazi Germany are around the corner.  When will our governments take complete control of the media and require us to burn our books and our history?  Many in America are already taking down Confederate statues hoping to erase the Civil War from our history.  Will we allow our governments to control our minds in the future?  Propaganda and the brainwashing of the populace is more prevalent now then it ever was with the constant use of computers and TVs.  Independent journalists are the only real source of what was once known as journalism and good reporting.  When will put our foot down and say enough is enough?  Will we die and leave a legacy of inaction and sedentary? It is time to rise up and give our countries back to the people and not allow us to rule us like serfs and slaves.

“The world cannot afford, and the constitution does not permit, a muzzle placed on the work that transparency organisations do to inform the American and global public.” –Julian Assange

A pardon for Assange? How It Can Be Done Explained

images (3).jpegWith the United States DoJ looking to prosecute Julian Assange on espionage charges  under the outdated Espionage Act of 1911, and also for theft of gocernment property and also the recent threat of eviction from the Ecuador Embassy in London, it has become obvious that it is time for President Trump to act. According to several different sources, Jeff Sessions has reopened the case against Assange.  Seen here, iamwikileaks.org explains the charges:

Trump DOJ charges

In an April 2017 address to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, CIA Director Mike Pompeo’s delivered a tirade against WikiLeaks, in which he declared the organisation a “hostile intelligence service” and said, “we can no longer allow Assange and his colleagues the latitude to use free speech values against us.”

Later that month, several media outlets reported that the Trump Department of Justice had prepared charges to prosecute WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange, each with slightly different information about what the charges might entail.

The Washington Post reported that US officials are “taking a second look at a 2010 leak of diplomatic cables and military documents and investigating whether the group bears criminal responsibility for the more recent revelation of sensitive CIA cyber-tools, according to people familiar with the case.” During Manning’s court martial, the government’s lawyers attempted to prove that Assange “conspired” in the 2010 disclosures by “directing” Manning to leak certain documents. In her statement to the court explaining her actions, Manning directly rejected this claim, saying no one from WikiLeaks ever directed her, and the military judge acquitted her of “aiding the enemy.”

The Post also reported that prosecutors have been “drafting a memo possibly including conspiracy, theft of government property or violating the Espionage Act.” CNN reported that one of the key elements for investigators was related to WikiLeaks work assisting NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Throughout his presidential campaign, Donald Trump praised WikiLeaks for publishing documents from the DNC, even saying, “I love WikiLeaks”, encouraging them to leak more documents, and publicizing DNC disclosures. In an interview with AP after the charge announcement, however, Trump said that “it’s OK with” him if Assange is arrested.

According to The Guardian seen here:

US authorities has been investigating Assange and WikiLeaks since at least 2010 when it released, in cooperation with publications including the Guardian, more than a quarter of a million classified cables from US embassies leaked by US army whistleblower Chelsea Manning.

Republican politicians expressed fury at the time, accusing Assange of treason, and Trump himself told an interviewer: “I think it’s disgraceful, I think there should be like death penalty or something.”

The April statement made by Mr. Sessions saying that arresting Assange is a priority was shortly after the publication of Vault7 by Wikileaks which is documentation regarding the spying on of citizens by the CIA.  This enraged the former CIA director at the time and he made several statements making it clear he wanted Assange and Wikileaks prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Due to the imminent danger that this has put the publisher Julian Assange in, we need to push President Trump to pardon him. He has a simple option available to him to help free and save Julian Assange, which is a preemptive pardon.  “Julian Assange has not been convicted yet!”, many have stated. Let me explain to you what a preemptive pardon does and is.

The word preemptive according dictionary.com is:

taken as a measure against something possible, anticipated, or feared; preventive; deterrent:

And the definition according to the same site for pardon is:

Law.

  1. a release from the penalty of an offense; a remission of penalty, as by a governor.

the document by which such remission is declared.

So inevitably a preemptive pardon is a pardon before the courts have decided to convict.  In other words, President Trump could issue one in order to free Assange of charges written up by the DoJ.

According to Brown University found here:

The President’s pardon power is contained in Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution: “The President…shall have the power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in the cases of impeachment.” (This exception has been attributed by some scholars to a 17th century English constitutional crisis that developed after King Charles II pardoned his friend, the Earl of Danby, who had been impeached by Parliament.) The pardon power is otherwise without limit. The president can pardon anyone for anything, subject only to judgment of public opinion. While it is clearly within the president’s power to issue a pardon in advance of an indictment or trial, it is also true that the pardon power had virtually always been used in a post-conviction context.

My investigations into preemptive pardons led me here, where I learned of several preemptive pardons issued by former Presidents:

In the case of former President Richard Nixon, he was granted a pardon by President Gerald Ford for any crimes he might have committed during the Watergate scandal, even though Nixon wasn’t charged with or convicted of federal crimes. (This is known as a pre-emptive pardon.) Nixon was able to receive a pardon under the precedent of an 1866 Supreme Court ruling called Ex parte Garland, which allowed for a pardon granted by President Andrew Johnson to remain in force for a former Confederate politician.

Pre-emptive pardons remain rare. In addition to Ford’s Nixon pardon, President George H.W. Bush pardoned former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger and former CIA official Duane Clarridge in late 1992 before they were tried on Iran-contra Affair charges. (Four others were convicted in the case and also pardoned.)

Though they remain rare, President Trump is perfectly capapble of issuing one in the case of Julian Assange.  This is just one of several options he has in regards to ending the persecution of this journalist.  Another one would be to order the DoJ to end the investigation and drop all charges and the grand jury against Wikileaks and Assange.  In any case, something must be done to aid Julian. His health is deteriorating quickly and he has been detained illegally against 2 UN rulings for nearly 8 years, 6 of which have been in the embassy without fresh air, sunlight or proper medical care.

Who Was Really Behind the Silencing of Julian Assange?

Many have speculated on the reasons behind the silencing of Julian Assange and what country coerced Moreno or if the President of Ecuador did it on his own but the fact is that it really wasn’t over his tweets regarding Catalonia.  Nor do I believe that Spain had anything to do with it.  This article is to explain who I think was behind it and why.  I may make some enemies over this but the truth needs to be told. It was the United States, but not who you may think.  The Clintons had nothing to do with it.  The CIA undoubtedly had their hands in it but the answer is surprising to some but not to those of us who have watched this story unfold.104775233-2ED1-REQ-Assange-R1-101617.1910x1000

Let’s start with the latest article from the Financial Times seen here . According to this article:

“Ecuador said on Friday it would borrow over $1.1bn from international lenders including $500m in a repo operation with Goldman Sachs.”

I know you are asking what this has to do with Wikileaks and the silencing of Assange but I will explain.  If you watch Wikileaks’ Twitter at all, they recently posted this article with this statement attached:

goldman sachs

WL has been saying all along that the US used trade and money to coerce Ecuador into gagging Assange. So we now know that Goldman Sachs from Wall Street obviously had their hands in the agreement because they are now lending them money.  Next I will show you an article on how Goldman Sachs who for years was on the border of failing pulled out and why. Here is the link: Link between Goldman Sachs and the Trump administration

As we know according to this article from the Hill, Trump is very much involved with Goldman Sachs and naming it’s top officials.  This is what made me go, “HMMM!”  So many are saying Trump loves Wikileaks and it seemed so pre-election when he stated almost 150 times how much he cared for the organization.  The problem is, in April of 2017, he gave the go ahead to arrest Julian Assange when Sessions said he was making it a priority to take him into custody.  In my article, “Why It Is Dangerous for Assange to Come to the US” I outlined and showed the articles where these statements came from.  I also showed how the former CIA director, Mike Pompeo, (who is now the Secretary of State), did a 180 on Julian and his organization after the election and called not only for his immediate arrest but also called Wikileaks a “hostile non-state intelligence organization”. He compared them to a terrorist organization and was quoted as saying the following:

But Mr. Pompeo’s harshest words were reserved for Julian Assange, calling the WikiLeaks founder a “narcissist” and “a fraud — a coward hiding behind a screen.” (quoted from this article: Pompeo article )

So we have proof that Trump’s state department may be behind the silencing of Assange.  Let’s also look at a former statement from our President in 2011 about Wikileaks and what should be done about Julian Assange in 2010 after Cablegate.  (link ) Here, as a business man, Donald Trump makes the statement:

“I think it’s disgraceful, I think there should be like death penalty or something,” Trump said during the quick exchange.

And here is the same statement: (link)

According to the truthful source based off of Wikileaks iamwikileaks :

This is my final reason as to why he was silenced and by whom.  Days before Ecuador took Assange’s rights away to internet, visitors and the phone, Julian Assange had intentions of testifying on Cambridge Analytics.  Some question was his testimony was.  Here is the article from March 20th in the Washington Times. (Cambridge Analytics and Julian Assange )

Regardless of what he was going to prove, Assange was coincidentally isolated days after his intended statement.  I find it rather odd as well that if President Trump truly felt the way he said he did about Wikileaks before his election, that he has done nothing about Assange’s illegal detainment or his solitary confinement for the last 5 months.  In fact, it angers me.  I voted for this man and am ashamed that he is allowing this infringement of first amendment rights and human rights to continue. Looking at all this information, I want you to decide if this is right.

It is time for either the President of the United States to step up and do what is right in this situation or take full responsibility for the evil act that has been placed upon Assange since March 28th, 2018 as his own doing,  It is time we hold Trump accountable for what is happening to this publisher and journalist. It is time we call on Donald Trump to end the persecution of a journalist that has lasted nearly 8 years.  If we do nothing, we are as guilty as the politicians who have instilled this evil on Julian.
