Targeting Wikileaks: What is Section 623 of the Intel Act

Last week a new Bill was put out on the Senate Floor. Most of it is regarding national security, retirement for Senate and etc but they added a little clause at the end hoping to slide it in.  This section names Wikileaks as “a non-state hostile intelligence organization” which in essence is calling it a spy organization or an enemy of the state.  Wikileaks is truly only a media organization who publishes documents given to them.  Julian Assange is a journalist and an editor, not a spy.  It has never been proven that he somehow works for Russia (which is actually funnier than you might think).  This is Section of the Bill is a direct attack on freedom of press and free speech and is

unconstitutional in every sense of the word.

In an interview with the Daily Beast, Mieke Eoyang, a former House intelligence committee staffer, said the move would open WikiLeaks up to more extensive surveillance by the US government, allowing the intelligence community to “collect against [WikiLeaks] in the same way they collect against al-Qaeda.”  So now they are labeling it a terrorist organization as well.  Incredible and unreal!

Other media outlets have published leaks such as the Washington Post and the New York Times, where is there label?  Will the government soon declare other news organizations like Breitbart or Infowars hostile next?  Will they begin to target Conservatives outlets?  The next step after that is simply going full Nazi and only allowing pro-government sponsored media to publish.  This is as unconstitutional as socialism.  

Free speech and freedom of press are already being targeted elsewhere.  The title “Fake News” was originally coined by MSM to target smaller organizations such as Breitbart and even Fox News.  Conservatives turned the phrase around but it targeted free speech originally nonetheless.  The group Antifa is trying to shut down free speech rallies and Trump rallies and yelling to take away Free Speech.  This group is no better than Pre-Nazi Germany’s brown coats.  Censorship online on FB and Twitter is more obvious every day.  Can free Americans allow this?

Wikileaks is possibly the only news organization to never have to retract a published document in its ten year existence.  Can we allow the government to deem an agency that publishes the truth about corruption within government walls to be quieted because they don’t like the facts to be known to the public? NO!  The government cannot continue to hide behind a thick wall of deceit!

It seems Congress is afraid of Julian and his organization.  What can he reveal about them that would bring them crashing down?  Why are they so terrified of a simple media organization?

Wyden, the only dissenter who voted No on the bill when it was voted on by the Senate Intelligence Committee last month said the following  “he voted against the bill due to the “legal, constitutional and policy implications” of the WikiLeaks provision.” Wyden, no fan of WikiLeaks himself, cautioned against the introduction of “vague, undefined new categories of enemies” of the US.

“Sense of Congress” proposals are not legally binding and are not sent to the president for his signature. They have no formal effect and simply express the opinion of Congress. That, however, does not mean they are irrelevant. Sense of Congress resolutions are often used by Congress to appeal to the president, in an attempt to make him take some specific action. They are also used to express the opinion of Congress to the government of a foreign nation.

If WikiLeaks was to be formally classified as an entity hostile to the US, would American citizens be allowed to donate to the website? Would journalists be forbidden to use materials published by WikiLeaks in their reporting?

In an interview on the Liberty Report with former senator Ron Paul, ex-CIA officer Philip Giraldi argued against this labelling, saying that WikiLeaks does not have its own intelligence capabilities, rather it simply publishes material given to it by other people. Treating WikiLeaks as an intelligence agency would mean the government could go after the organization more aggressively, whether that meant hacking its facilities — or indeed, going after people who cooperate with WikiLeaks in any way, shape or form and even prosecuting them.

This means that an American citizen who supports Wikileaks like myself could possibly be arrested for aiding the enemy.  Does this sound right to you?

Paul himself pointed out that while the head of WikiLeaks Julian Assange is not even an American citizen, the US is “obsessed with trying to put him in jail”.  The CIA I am sure would love to torture him as they did Manning who leaked to Wikileaks.  Why?  Because he exposes their hypocrisy and lies.

A Letter to Congress Regarding the Anti-Wikileaks Clause in the Intel Act of 2017

The Clause included in this bill is not only wrong but unconstitutional. Wikileaks is not a hostile organization set out to destroy America but is simply a publisher.  Julian Assange is nothing other than an Australian journalist.  The problem with this clause is simple, once it is passed, it will do the following:

1.  speech and free press are consitutional rights and once you violate the First Amendment, it is easier to continue. Julian Assange is a publisher and a journalist, nothing more.
2. By impeding free press, soon free speech will follow for all citizens as they begin to indoctrinate what we are allowed to say.
3. Once this happens, all Constitutional rights will begin to disappear and we will soon lose our freedom.
4. If we prosecute Wikileaks for their publications, any media organization who has published must also be prosecuted. This is the beginning of tyranny on the part of the government.

He has been called a spy so they can bring him here under the Espionage Act of 1917. However, the definition is as follows: work for a government or other organization by secretly collecting information about enemies or competitors.

Julian operates Wikileaks. He is the founder, editor and publisher of these documents. He does not obtain these documents on his own. Whistleblowers and leakers bring them to him. Just like at the NY Times and the Washington Post. So if you arrest and prosecute Assange under any act, you must also do so to other media organizations that have released similar publications. Soon, you would have to jail every journalist and publisher for what they publish and then we are no longer a Republic. The government then truly is Big Brother from 1984.

Do not say “Yes” to this bill until this clause is removed.  The people of the United States are tired of the violation of their Constitutional Rights and will begin voting those out who are encroaching on these rights.  We The People are fed up with Congress people who do nothing to help us. We will be watching to see who supports our freedom.

Letter to President Trump to Pardon Julian Assange

Dear Mr. President,

As of this year, Julian Assange has been detained in the Ecuadorian Embassy for 5 years.  With the time he was under house arrest and spent in jail, it is up to 7 years.  The UN has declared Assange’s detainment inhumane. He has no access to healthcare or to exercise outside.  No daylight is extremely bad for one’s health.  He lives in a room that isn’t even as big as most American’s living rooms Mr. President.

Julian Assange was the second reason you were elected as he released the DNC emails and Podesta emails.  He knows who gave them to Wikileaks and it is not Russia.  Wikileaks staff and Julian Assange deserved to be pardoned for publishing the truth.  They are not a hostile organization nor are they a spy organization.  You once said that you loved Wikileaks for what they are doing.  Can you show that love and appreciation now and pardon all Wikileaks staff and Assange?

We the People are begging for your help in this matter Mr. President.  If we prosecute wikileaks, the first Amendment is sure to fall soon thereafter as it is a violation of the Constitution to quiet a media organization. If they extradite Julian Assange to the United States and succeed in prosecuting them this opens the door to a madhouse of arrests and persecutions. Here is why…

Please pardon Wikileaks and Julian Assange as soon as possible and show your support of the Constitution.

The Intel Authorization Act of 2017 and the Possible Consequence

The implications and possible outcome if this act is put into law are devastating towards journalism and the right to “free press” and free speech to international media outlets due it’s inclusion of the “Pompeo Doctrine”.  This act if it becomWikileaks a hostile spy organization which in fact it is not.  Wikileaks simply publishes the documents given to them.  Julian Assange is an editor, not a spy.  He simply has exposed government corruption, war crimes and the misuse of power.  This is not the organization being hostile as it has exposed other governments lies and criminal activity.

I have said before, persecuting or prosecuting Wikileaks is in violation of the First Amendment and it should not matter if you are not a citizen.  Freedom of speech is an international human right, not just inclusive to the United States citizens.  By declaring this organization hostile, the forseeable future is that no one will be feel they can whistleblow on government activities.  It will limit the press’s ability to publish and journalists abilities to report.  This is a crime, not protection.

The Pompeo Doctrine is a dangerous world view. It limits the public’s rights to information that they should know and in essence may as well have come straight out of the book 1984.  Wyden the only Senator to disagree with this bill stated the following:

Wyden was also quoted as saying, “The language in the bill suggesting that the U.S. government has some unstated course of action against ‘non-state hostile intelligence services’ is equally troubling.”

I agree with this statement.  30 years ago the CIA tried to state the same thing about media organizations in an attempt to quell free speech rights.  If one declares Wikileaks as hostile then shouldn’t all media outlets be deemed as such?   After all, Wikileaks has never had to retract a story in it’s ten year existence and oftentimes, other media outlets have had to.

The Intel Authorization Act of 2017 is an attempt to remove our First Amendment Rights under the United States Constitution and therefore is an illegal attempt to make censorship a law.  Contact your Senators and Representatives today.

What is Anti-Fa really?

This may bring some hate down on my head but I am sick of this group promoting hatred and fear.  This group of individuals claim to be anti-fascist but the reality is they are no different than Hitler’s brown coats. They are violent and show up at rallies to promote their hate and hope to bring fear to anyone who supports Trump.  According to wikipedia:

Unlike the traditional left, the ambit of self-described antifa groups is to “oppose” fascism in direct action. These groups are usually anti-government and anti-capitalist, and their methodologies and tactics are more aggressively violent and anarchistic than those of associated groups in the far left.

Antifa groups are known for militant protest tactics, including property damage and physical violence. IN actuality, this group focuses more on violence towards the right than they do on Democrat policies.  Often dressed in black gear and masks, they remind me more of ISIS than protestors. Recently a petition has been circling to declare Antifa a terrorist organization due to it’s horrible tactics.  Here are a few pictures I have collected of their savage behavior.

Today, August22nd, 2017, they showed up at the Trump rally in Arizona with AR15 rifles.  They claim to be against hate, homophobes, misogynists, etc. but truthfully these people want to bring America down to it’s knees.  They are pulling down historic statues, groups of them are attacking lone Trump supporters, and trying to take over completely by violence.  It is time the US government sends in the National Guard and gets control of this situation before it’s too late.  Many are calling for the assassination of our President.

Antifa protesters participated in the 2017 Berkeley protests where they gained mainstream media attention, “throwing Molotov cocktails and smashing windows. They are screaming to kill police officers, throwing feces and urine at the police and people on the right and they have used molotov cocktails, and thrown rocks. They often come to protest pro Trump rallies with ball bats and other weapons. This group is highly dangerous and should never be approached.

What Was The Nazi Party Really?

In 1933, the National Socialist German Worker’s Party began it’s rule of what is Germany. According to History.com :

Founded in 1919 as the German Workers’ Party, the group promoted German pride and anti-Semitism, and expressed dissatisfaction with the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, the 1919 peace settlement that ended World War I (1914-1918) and required Germany to make numerous concessions and reparations.

The party was also known as the NAZI party and ruled from 1933 to 1945 when the Allies won the WWII.  Hitler became the leader of the party in 1921 and so history was made. Sometimes characterised as a form of fascism that incorporates scientific racism and antisemitism, Nazism’s development was influenced by German nationalism . In the 1920s, political opponents of the NSDAP in the German labour movement seized on this and – using the earlier abbreviated term “Sozi” for Sozialist (English: Socialist)Most of the leaders of the NAZI party were executed for war crimes, However, Hitler was supposed to have committed suicide.

Through the 1920s, Hitler gave speech after speech in which he stated that unemployment, rampant inflation, hunger and economic stagnation in postwar Germany would continue until there was a total revolution in German life. Most problems could be solved, he explained, if communists and Jews were driven from the nation. The party came to control virtually all political, social, and cultural activities in Germany. Its vast and complex hierarchy was structured like a pyramid, with party-controlled mass organizations for youth, women, workers, and other groups at the bottom, party members and officials in the middle, and Hitler and his closest associates at the top wielding undisputed authority.

This period was also known as the Third Reich or National Socialist period.  Racism, especially antisemitism, was a central feature of the regime.  Millions of Jews and other peoples deemed undesirable by the state were murdered in the Holocaust. Opposition to Hitler’s rule was ruthlessly suppressed.

Hitler claimed that Nazism was not exclusively for any class. Quoted from wikileaks:

“From the camp of bourgeois tradition, it takes national resolve, and from the materialism of the Marxist dogma, living, creative Socialism”

Hitler was politically influenced by Austrian Pan-Germanist proponent Georg Ritter von Schönerer, who advocated radical German nationalism, antisemitism, anti-Catholicism, anti-Slavic sentiment, and anti-Habsburg views. German Nazism emphasized German nationalism, including both irredentism and expansionism. Nazism held racial theories based upon the belief of the existence of an Aryan master race that was superior to all other races.

Hitler denounced the Old Testament as “Satan‘s Bible”, and utilising components of the New Testament, he attempted to prove that Jesus was both an Aryan and an antisemite. Hitler claimed that the New Testament included distortions by Paul the Apostle, whom Hitler described as a “mass-murderer turned saint”.  In other words, Nazis distorted views of Christianity were a bit demented.

Adolf Hitler, both in public and in private, expressed disdain for capitalism, arguing that it holds nations ransom in the interests of a parasitic cosmopolitan rentier class.^[210] He opposed free market capitalism’s profit-seeking impulses and desired an economy in which community interests would be upheld.  He was a socialist, not a Conservative and definitely not a capitalist.  In fact, Adolf Hitler was insane.

The Nazis capitalized on the paranoia of the middle class. Why did Germans accept the regimes policies? According to the historian Saul Friedländer, the majority of the German population believed that the Nazi regime would lead Germany out of years of political turmoil. This belief survived the problems (for instance the bad economy) in the first years of the regime. A series of successes on the international scene – for instance the naval agreement with Great Britain 1935 – strongly reinforced this belief.

The Nazi Third Reich also limited free speech by only allowing German “nationals” to publish newspapers:

1. non-German newspapers require express permission from the State for their publication. They may not be printed in the German language.
2. Any financial participation in a German newspaper or influence on such a paper is to be forbidden by law to non-Germans and the penalty for any breach of this law will be the closing of the newspaper in question, as well as the immediate expulsion from the Reich of the non-Germans involved.
3. Newspapers which violate the public interest are to be banned. We demand laws against trends in art and literature which have a destructive effect on our national life, and the suppression of performances that offend against the above requirement.

By definition,  only Nationals (Volksgenossen) can be Citizens of the State. Only persons of German blood can be Nationals, regardless of religious affiliation. No Jew can therefore be a German National. The reich also insisted in their Nuremburg laws that the State must raise the level of national health by means of mother-and-child care, the banning of juvenile labor, achievements of physical fitness through legislation for compulsory gymnastics and sports, and maximum support for all organizations providing physical training for young people.

So in sharing this, I want someone to explain how Conservatives are Nazis?

 

 

Possible Pardon for Julian Assange and Wikileaks?

In recent news, US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher visited Julian at the Embassy to discuss details on his proof of no Russian collusion.  During this conversation, it appears they also discussed a possible pardon if Julian provided documents that proved Russia did not give him the DNC leaks and Podesta emails.  Dana agreed to bring such information to President Trump.  The possibility of a seat at the White House news briefing for Wikileaks was also discussed.

A preemptive pardon would be the answer and should be in order.  Why?  First of all, the US wanted charges brought against Wikileaks and the editor Julian Assange originally over the leaks provided by Private Manning.  Manning was pardoned by President Obama in the last weeks of his administration and was released in May of this year.  If Manning is pardoned, why is Wikileaks still considered guilty?  All Wikileaks did was publish documents provided to them.  They are a publisher and in essence, a news organization.

By holding an ongoing grand jury against Assange and Wikileaks, trying to indite this organization on charges and persecuting this journalist organization, our government has violated our Constitutional right to free speech as well as free press.  It is time for this unconstitutional persecution to end.

President Trump has vowed to uphold the Constitution and by issuing a preemptive pardon for Wikileaks and Julian Assange, he would be standing behind his words.  This would be a show of his belief in the First Amendment and would gain him more support from voters.  By lifting the pressure and in essence, freeing Assange he would be celebrated as a President for truth and justice.

A Preemptive Pardon For Julian Assange

Since the DOJ seems determined to press charges against Assange, indict him and continue to hold a grand jury against him, I think it is time for his supporters to contact President Trump about a preemptive pardon.  What is that you say?  Well let me explain.

The word preemptive according dictionary.com is:

taken as a measure against something possible, anticipated, or feared; preventive; deterrent:

And the definition according to the same site for pardon is:

Law.

1. a release from the penalty of an offense; a remission of penalty, as by a governor.
2. the document by which such remission is declared.

So in other words, a preemptive pardon would dismiss any anticipated charges against Julian and would then allow him to be free due to the fact there would be no extradition once he walked out of the Embassy.

Why do we need this you ask?  Let me explain, since the leaks Manning released to Wikileaks the United States has sought to arrest Julian on charges of spying and several other items.  The government is obviously not going to drop this matter themselves and by Trump issuing this pardon, it would make any charges null and void.  Assange would be a free man!

Another reason I feel Assange deserves this is because Obama (for whatever reason) has already pardoned Manning for his crimes, so why is government still seeking to indite the publisher of the leaks?  If other media outlets are not prosecuted for publishing leaks sent to them, why is government still pursuing charges against Wikileaks?  Simply put,  Wikileaks never committed a crime to begin with and just exercised it’s right to freedom of speech and free press as outlined in the First Amendment of the Constitution.

When the party who delivered the original documents to the publisher has been pardoned, it makes no sense to go after the one who published!

The History of Wikileaks

Ever wonder where Wikileaks started?  The obvious answer is that it started in Julian Assange’s head but how and why?  A man who started out as a simple Australian who was obsessed with computers and hacking became one of the most powerful men in the world by exposing the truth of corruption in the governments of the world.  It was founded by it’s publisher and editor in 2006.

While Julian was a teenager he became a hacker named Mendex and discovered some of the corruption in government websites.  I do believe this is when Julian began to become an activist.  In September, 1991, Julian was discovered hacking  into the Melbourne master terminal of Nortel.  Soon after he was arrested for the hack. He became a computer programmer and  he was involved in starting one of the first public Internet service providers in Australia, Suburbia Public Access Network.

After a period of study at Melbourne University, Julian established Wikileaks. Shortly before this Julian worked with other mathematicians and coding experts to develop an encryption code that would be almost impenetrable for a decade. He used this encryption to protect leakers who brought information to his new organization.

Julian initially formed @Wikileaks with the idea of giving people in dictatorships or regimes like China a safe way to expose them. He never expected the avalanche of material from the US. Wikileaks was publishing for 4 yrs before the Manning documents were even given to the publisher. Originally, wikileaks was not focused on the US at all.  Quite the opposite. The idea was to give a safe platform for those from non democratic brutal regimes. Check out ”The Cry of Blood Report” from Kenya prior to US stuff. He won an award for that. It exposed judicial kidnappings & killings in Kenya.

Wikileaks came to global prominence in 2010 with the Manning leaks which contained a video and cables discussing the war crimes committed in Iraq by the US government.  These leaks included the Collateral Murder video (April 2010),^[2][3] the Afghanistan war logs (July 2010), the Iraq war logs (October 2010), and CableGate (November 2010). Following the 2010 leaks, the United States government launched a criminal investigation into WikiLeaks and asked allied nations for assistance.

In November 2010, a request was made to the UK government to extradite Assange to Sweden over previous allegations of rape.  Julian expressed concern over the possibility that he would actually be extradited to the US to face charges of espionage and treason.  Simply put, the publisher was going to be prosecuted for using his 1st amendment rights to free press.  He was granted asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy in August of 2013 and has remained there since.

During the 2016 US presidential campaign, Wikileaks released a series of emails titles the DNC leaks and the Podesta emails. These would expose the corruption involved in the Clinton campaign as well as other criminal activities involving the Clintons.  The US asked Ecuador to shut off his internet until the election was over.  In February of this year, Wikileaks began publishing Vault 7 a series of leaks from the CIA.  The US government has admitted they now plan to indict Assange.

Many believe Julian is anti-American due to so many of the leaks pertaining to the US government. However, I do not believe Julian is. I think Julian is a campaigner for transparency and is against any kind of criminal activity on any government’s part. He is a human rights advocate and has exposed the autrocities of war.  In fact, Julian is an information warrior and hero.  Wikileaks is not a spy operation or a Russian operative as so many accuse it of being.  It is simply an organization for truth and justice.

In ten years, Wikileaks has never had to retract any of it’s material.  Rather than condemn Assange and Wikileaks, they should be applauded for doing what no one else was willing to do.  Julian has given up his freedom for the truth.  Please help this organization by donating to wikileaks or justice for assange .  Thank you!
